  6.  Setup.opt:       the global parameter settings.
  7.  BIT_convolve:    the convolution matrix definition file
  8.  BIT_filters:     the external filter definition file.
  9.  sparkle.dat:     Controls sparkle displaying.

  11.  *.hlp:           online help files
  12.  *.icon:          all icons used by bit
  13.  *.map            default color map for edges
  14.

  16. Not in this pre-release (hardcoded in text.c and symbol.h)
  17.  *.fnt            all text fonts
  18.  *.sym            special symbol definitions

  21. Typically, these files should not be handled manually. In ../src
  22. directory, type make install will copy/move these files to proper
  23. directories.
